The Lady Cardinals softball team went on the road on Tuesday, April 8 to Paola and Thursday, April 10 to Anderson County. On Tuesday, April 15 the Cardinals played against Louisburg at home. Then on Tuesday, April 22 the Cardinals headed back on the road to Spring Hill.

The Lady Cards had a rough time against Paola. The ladies lost with a score of 17-2 against the Panthers.  Senior Anna Brown had the only hit of the game and had 2 RBI. In the second game against Paola, the Cardinals came up short again losing by a score of 16-0. Brown once again had the only hit of the game.

The Cardinals got back on the right track with a win against Anderson County. The Lady Cards won their first game against the Bulldogs with a score of 9-1. Sophomores Samantha Gulley, Mariah Brown, and senior Alyssa Blaisdell got two hits each. The second game did not go as well as the first as the Cardinals lost a close game with a close game of 7-6.

The Cardinals hosted a game against Louisburg. They lost both games with scores of 8-0 and 10-4.

The Cardinals headed to Spring Hill. Lady Cards again lost both games with scores of 6-0 and 5-0.

The next game for the Cardinals will be in Wellsville on Thursday, April 24.
