Will Reiter follows former history teacher Jake Lott in teaching World History, and Constitution of Law. Reiter came to EHS from Prince of Peace Catholic School in Olathe, Kan. Reiter taught U.S. History, Kansas History and World Geography for 23 years at Prince of Peace. 

Mr. Reiter married  his wife Shari Reiter, who is a special education teacher in the DeSoto district. He has three kids, Ethan, who is at KU and is learning to become a social studies teacher, Jarrett, senior, and Adelyn, sophomore, both go to school at Gardner-Edgerton High School. They have one dog that they got during COVID-19 named Juneau. 

“Her coat is all white so Ethan named her after the capital of Alaska. She is super sweet and is always ready to run to you when you come home from work,” Reiter said. 

Outside of teaching, Mr. Reiter gardens vegetables and flowers, he also is a big KU sports fan. When Mr. Reiter is not teaching in his classroom you can find him on the court coaching freshmen volleyball.

 “I love coaching freshmen volleyball. The girls don’t take any time off and always have a lot of effort. It has been a while since I have coached volleyball but I think they are going to be a good team,” Mr.  Reiter said.

Mr. Reiter so far loves Eudora High School and is looking forward to having an amazing school year. 

“The school is great, the staff is great, the students are really nice, we have an amazing community. You can tell that there are a bunch of hardworking people or good people that are ready to help. The schools are like the center of the town” Mr. Reiter said  “There is a good partnership between the schools and the community,”
