New Staff: Ginny Rapplean

Story By: Micah Katzenmeier

With the recent hire of Ginny Rapplean, the Eudora High School office is better than ever. With experience in the elementary school, Mrs. Rapplean has made the decision to move back to school life after a five-year intermission.

“I worked at Eudora Elementary school for eight years, then I stayed home with my two little boys for five years. I wanted to get back into the Cardinal family through the school district and EHS had an opening and that felt like a good place for me,” said Mrs. Rapplean.

So, Mrs. Rapplean has known many of the EHS populace for a long time. She has experience in a school environment and is willing and ready to do her part in the school. Although she is still getting back into her groove, Mrs. Rapplean is already busy informing EHS with daily announcements.

“Yes, I enjoy seeing all the students  I saw previously at the elementary school and getting to know the staff and the students,” Mrs. Rapplean explained. “I do the morning announcements and I help the substitutes to their classrooms and with any other information they may need. I help with the finances and money that comes from fundraisers and game days.”

Mrs. Rapplean will soon be an integral piece of the school and Eudora as a community. She wants all the students and staff to get to know her.

“I like to have fun and I enjoy the outdoors. I love Eudora and think it’s a great place to raise a family,” Mrs. Rapplean shared.
