Jake Lott is Eudora High School’s new social studies and sociology teacher. In his 11th teaching year, Mr. Lott has been teaching all around Kansas. Most recently, Mr. Lott taught at Royal Valley High School  just north of Topeka. He is a Kansas native and is “very excited” to start teaching here at Eudora.

“From colleagues and community members, I had heard that Eudora was a good district,”  said Mr. Lott.

Mr. Lott also took on an assistant coaching position with the EHS football team as a linebacker’s coach for varsity  and headJV coach. Mr. Lott brings a consistent, strong coaching presence to boost Head Football Coach Hayden’s program. 

“Coach Lott is a great coach for our team and has really helped the program out as a whole,” Coach Hayden explains.

Mr..Lott has a few goals for himself and his students. Using real world application and consistent lesson planning, “I want my students to be engaged and to be able to use what I teach them in the classroom and outside of the classroom”  Mr. Lott is looking forward to a great first year at Eudora.

Mr. Lott is ready to have an amazing time in this wonderful school in his first year at eudora.  “To be honest this school year has been rolling.” said Mr. Lott. “ I’m just loving the atmosphere here at Eudora.”
