After a 3-0 start for the EHS football team, they finally suffered their first  disappointment of the year on Friday, Sept. 27, losing 28-14 to Paola. The Cards never really seemed to find their rhythm on offense, only scoring twice, and the defense gave up one touchdown every quarter. The offensive star for Eudora was again senior Andrew Ballock. Ballock ran for one touchdown and connected with teammate sophomore Grant Elston to score another six points. The Cardinals will try to bounce back Friday, Oct. 4 against Spring Hill.
