Cheer

Coming up- Cheer Competition Feb. 3 @ Baldwin

“Festival went really well for the team. Leading up to competition day, I think we all felt very prepared and confident in what we were going to throw on the floor, and when we did throw it, I’d have to say that I’m extremely proud. So many people stepped to the challenge of competition and were willing to do things they’d never imagined doing. We pulled off some amazing stunts and I think I speak for the whole team when I say that we got what we deserved. The team received a one rating for full group, and then both of the individuals that I was in for stunts also received a one rating,” said Angel Garrett, Sr.

Dance

Coming up- Alumni performance @ EHS basketball game Jan. 9

“Festival went great for the dance team and ran smoothly overall. Times to change and get ready for the next performance were tight at times and a few of us were even late to the gym. I wasn’t completely sure of how routines would turn out because I didn’t feel prepared for any of them and I even learned one dance the day before festival. The team earned all one ratings with our two group routines and one ratings with individual dances. THe girls were very excited about our ratings and they enjoyed the day and experiences brought to them. I’m very proud of my team and the things we have accomplished this season,“ said Elizabeth Bradley, Sr.
