On Friday, Feb. 14 and Saturday, Feb. 15, the wrestling team traveled to Louisburg to compete in the Frontier League tournament. This tournament consists of each of the six teams competing in a dual, then at the end one team is named league champion. Although this is the case, the wrestlers also can take home league champion bragging rights.

The wrestlers all wrestled well. Eudora took home three placers at the meet including freshmen Monti Enriquez and Chase Dressler and sophomore Noah Kennedy. Enriquez took home first, winning all of his matches. Dressler brought home fourth. Finally, Kennedy brought home third.

The wrestlers have been preparing all season for their opportunity to wrestle next in the regional tournament on Friday, Feb. 21 and  Saturday, Feb. 22 in Holton. They will be wrestling for the top four places in their bracket in order to move on to the state tournament on Friday, Feb. 28 and Saturday, March 1 in Salina.
