Monthly Highlights

The school year has started and fall sports are in full swing.

Football is off to a steady start, having a close game against Bonner Springs, 20-28, Sept. 13. Football also had their first win of the season at home against Baldwin Sept. 27.

Soccer, starting off on the right foot, has the best record in program history at the start of the season, as of Sept. 30,

5-3-1. The girls cross country team placed first at the Missouri Southern Stampede Sept. 21 and the Rim Rock Classic Sept. 28.

FOOTBALL

“So far we’ve started 0-3, but we’ve shown improvement every game. Our goal is to be better than the day before and the guys do that on the daily. I am looking forward to our guys to keep on pushing and I feel like we can shock a lot of people in this state by making a run this fall.”

VOLLEYBALL

“Volleyball season so far has been so much fun. Our freshmen team is always so pumped up for games and I’m so glad that I have my sister Keagan there to give me advice. She is always there to support me. I am looking forward to a great volleyball season.”

CROSS COUNTRY

“This cross country season is most definitely one for the books. As a team this year, I definitely think we are more ambitious and ready to takeover. We’re sick of being overlooked and seen as not good enough. That state championship is long overdue. Get ready for a Eudora Cross Country takeover.”

“Cheer is going really well! We have a bunch of new stunts and pyramids. We are competing at the Eudora Cheer and Dance Competition and we are excit- ed to go to the KSHA competition this November for the first time!”

BOYS SOCCER

“So far we look really good and we have a ton of potential. If we play the way we know we’re capable of, we are a serious threat in class 4A.”

“The band season is going really well! We are all improving so much! I think that the whole band is really getting excited for this marching season and we hope to see more people at the games.”

CHOIR

“So far this year, I’ve seen significant change in the choir classes, all posi- tive changes of course. Mrs. Enneking has continued her incredible energy this school year and I personally am very impressed and pleased with how Primo Voci is doing this year and can’t wait for all three choirs to perform at our first concert late this October.”

DANCE

“I think this season is off to a very good start. I was afraid of starting my first year as a junior, but I was wel- comed with open arms and I really enjoy being on the squad. There is untapped potential in our small team of 7 girls and I’m looking forward to seeing us reach as high as we can improve.”
