Class of 2016
The class of 2016 has accomplished many different things during their time at EHS.
The grade’s average ACT score exemplifies their academic accomplishments, having an average score of 22.82. This score is higher than last year’s average of 22.2 and is above last year’s national average of 21. The class’ average weighted GPA is 3.238.
However, the class has not just achieved in academic endeavors. The class has influenced students in the classroom, in sports and many other activities. To show this, nearly one fourth of the senior class (30) participated in last week’s play Our Town.
“The seniors have influenced me to get involved in as much as I can and improve in everything I do. Shoutout to the seniors in cross country and band,” said Brayden Yoder-Mulkey, Frosh.
Friendships between seniors and underclassmen play a major role in the influences.
“My closest friend will be graduating this year and I will be so so sad to see her go,” said Jasmine Thevarajoo, Jr., “That’s how it is for me with a lot of the seniors, the majority of them have been very good friends to me and taught me to just get involved and go all out. Next year will be so hard without a lot of the seniors I have grown close to.”
“Our class is different from others because of the bond that we share as a class. Throughout our years together we have become one,” said Tucker Gabriel, Senior.
