Netflix vs. Hulu

On one of those Saturday nights spent alone at home, which do you choose, Netflix or Hulu? Each instant streaming site has apps for your gaming console, phone, or tablet. They both offer TV shows and movies, so what’s the difference?

First of all, Netflix costs $7.99 per month without commercials. Hulu Plus, on the other hand, costs $7.99 a month for limited commercials or $11.99 a month for no commercials. Why does Hulu Plus cost more? It comes down to the content of each site.

Hulu Plus usually updates their shows a day after the new episode airs. Meanwhile, Netflix’s shows are typically updated season by season, causing frustration for many.

“I like Hulu Plus better, because no one asked me to chill,” Maggie Durkin, Jr., says.

“Netflix is better because it’s easier to use than Amazon Prime, and I haven’t explored any other [sites],” Jesse Dennison, Jr., says.
