EHS Choir Stays Busy
The Eudora Cardinal Choirs started off their busy week on Saturday, April 11 with Regional Solo and Small Ensemble Music Festival in De Soto, Kansas. The mixed men and women choir, Primo Voci, along with the all women choir Cantorei both received one ratings and will be moving on to the State Solo and Small Ensemble Festival in Andover on Saturday, April 25. Also going to State Festival with solo pieces are seniors Abbi Beckham and Chloe O’Dell, junior LeAnne Anderson, and freshman Graci Buchholz.
On Sunday, April 12 both the middle school and high school Cardinal Choirs traveled to Worlds of Fun for the 41st annual music festival. The high school combined choir took first place in their division.
The Cardinal Choirs hosted the KSHSAA State Large Group Festival held on Wednesday, April 15 at the Eudora Middle School. The women from Concert Choir, Primo Voci, and Cantorei performed two songs together and received a one rating.
