Boys Basketball on a Roll

The boys basketball team has managed to please the expectations of the home crowd so far in the 2014-2015 season, as the boys have a 4-1 winning record.

The first game of the season would prove to be a nail biter as a game winning shot by junior Austin Downing would put the Cardinals over the top to win against Spring Hill 48-45

The Cardinals would take what they learned in the season opener to help them carry their momentum on into the Paola Invitational Tournament where they would come out victorious over Bonner Springs in the first round with a 57-55 overtime win. In the second round, the Cardinals took on much larger Olathe NW and fell with a heavy loss 51-37. Eudora refused to let one loss keep them down as they came back to beat Truman out for the third place spot, winning the final game of the tournament 58-50.

Most recently, the Cardinals travelled to Louisburg in search of their fourth win of the season. The Cardinals welcomed back star sophomore Mitchell Ballock who would help lead his team to victory over the Louisburg Wildcats 54-43.
