Tournament of Champions

Now’s the time of year when Eudora shows all of the other schools how a wrestling meet is supposed to be run as over 20 teams from around the state come together in an all out war for the title of champion.

Eudora wrestlers battle against other wrestlers for two whole days in hopes for a place in the final bracket of one of the biggest tournaments in the state of Kansas.

This year, Eudora managed to stack four wrestlers in the final bracket. Freshman Elijah Kennedy placed 5th at the 113 weight class, junior Noah Kennedy placed 6th at the 145 weight class, junior Dylan Monahan placed 8th at the 220 weight class, and finally senior Trenton Wilkins placed 4th in the 285 weight class.

The wrestling team will be back in action Dec. 20 at the Emporia Winter Classic.
