XC Competes for League
The Cardinal cross country team traveled to the Baldwin golf course to race against the best in their league, the Cardinal boys had 4 of their runners place in the top 21
Senior Jon Miller placed 13th and received 2nd team all league.
Junior- Jayce McQueen placed 16th and received an honorable mention.
Junior- Kimble Haskett placed 19th and received an honorable mention.
Sophomore- Steven Najera placed 21st and received an honorable mention.
The lady cards managed to push for 3 in the top 21 places.
Sophomore- Ashleigh Hicks placed 19th
Sophomore- Halle Norris placed 20th
Junior- Maria Wellman placed 21st
All 3 girls received honorable mentions and led their team to 4th place.
the Cardinals next run is at the 4A Regional meet at Anderson County, Garnett Country Club, Saturday, October 25th The girls will run at 2:00pm and the boys at 2:30.
