Lady Cards Go On the Road

The varsity volleyball girls traveled to Maranatha on the Thursday, Oct. 16 facing off against Turner and Maranatha. First, the Lady Cards took on Turner, owning both rounds 25-16 and 25-13.

Next the girls played the home team, Maranatha. The girls fought and fought and scrapped their way to victory in the third round with the scores 25-13 20-25 and 25-19. The Cardinals went home satisfied with two wins on the road.

However, on Tuesday, Oct. 21 the girls took the short drive to De Soto losing all three matches in a best of five duel. The Cards lost the first match a close 25-21.  Then the second one slipped away with a 25-14 loss, and in the third match the Lady Cards took defeat as De Soto managed to walk away with a final score of 25-17.
