EHS Football Hammers Down On the Broncos

On Friday, Oct. 10 the EHS varsity football team traveled to Spring Hill to take on the Broncos. Things seemed to start off well enough after the Cardinals forced a fumble that was recovered by senior Blake Jopp. Eudora failed to score on that drive but later managed to give Spring Hill an answer for their two consecutive touchdowns scored earlier in the game.

The score at the half was 14-7 Spring Hill leading. At the start of the second half, Eudora would come out with an entirely new attitude, forcing a fumble recovered by senior Skyler Manley which would be carried by senior Seth Griffith 41 yards for a Cardinal touchdown the very next play. The rest of the game would prove to be in favor of Eudora as the Cardinals would lead the way to victory with a final score of 32-14.
