New Staff: Katy Hayden

Katy Hayden is a new history teacher at Eudora High School for Sophomores. Hayden also is a Junior class and prom sponsor. Mrs. Hayden used to be a stay-at-home mom before teaching. Katy Hayden said “She would still have to be doing something with kids, especially teenagers”

    Mrs. Hayden is a history teacher and she is certified in social studies. Mrs. Hayden teaches history for Sophomores because “She likes to relate it to real life to things that are happening today, and she thinks it’s a cool study of human behavior.” 

Originally a study skills teacher at Eudora Middle School, Mrs. Hayden transferred to the high school role.

   “The teachers she works with are great, I love my classroom and I love my students,” said Mrs. Hayden emphatically.

     She also said that she enjoys seeing her daughter Brette Hayden in the hallways.
