New Staff: Katelyn Kellerman

Eudora High School hired a new Spanish teacher this school year after the departure of longtime Spanish teacher Kim Lancaster. Katelyn Kellerman grew up in Eudora but now lives in Lawrence. She is in her seventh year as a teacher, but her first year at Eudora. Mrs. Kellerman teaches the advanced Spanish classes. She has previously taught in Kansas City school districts and Gardner Edgerton. Mrs. Kellerman went to multiple colleges.
“I spent a year at Baylor University, KU, and Wisconsin,” said Mrs. Kellerman.
Mrs. Kellerman’s interests outside of teaching involve creative outlets like interior design. She enjoys spending time with her husband, watching sports, and coaching volleyball.
“I like to watch basketball, football, baseball, and softball.” Mrs. Kellerman mentioned.
She also loves traveling. Mrs. Kellerman has already established herself as an approachable and kind new instructor at EHS. She enjoys spending time with her husband, watching sports, and coaching volleyball.
“If I could travel every weekend I would,” said Mrs. Kellerman.
Mrs. Kellerman is one of two hires to Eudora’s Spanish department alongside Mrs. McQueen providing high-quality language education.
