Netflix:

Da 5 Bloods is a Spike Lee anti-war film that highlights the tragic story of a band of veterans returning to Vietnam. Only available on Netflix.

Netflix was a DVD rental service made on August 29, 1997. It was founded by Reed Hastings and Marc Randolph as a way to get movies more out into the world. They would make people rent the movies that they wished to watch and the movies would be shipped to their house for a fee and payment. Netflix has now become one of the biggest streaming services of all time.

They created a website that people could browse through movies and rent. They then attempted to get a partnership with what was one of the biggest video rental retailers of all-time, Blockbuster.

Netflix is very well-known and popular for a wide variety of movies, TV shows, and series. Some of Netflix’s biggest current movies and tv shows are 13 Reasons Why, Cobra Kai, Stranger Things, On My Block, and Da 5 Bloods

These movies should give you a very good reason to be purchasing a Netflix subscription and watching as many movies as possible.

Netflix has many types of subscriptions to add as many people into one Netflix account as possible. Packages include Basic streaming which allows one person to be one at a time at $8.99. You can purchase the Standard edition which will allow for two people to be watching at once at $12.99. Last, you can purchase the Premium edition which will allow you to have four people watching at once and Ultra HD Streaming at $15.99.

From my personal experience, the selection of horror films is poor and the ones that are included are mediocre. Therefore, horror fans should avoid Netflix’s services and seek out other platforms like Hulu, HBO Max, or Showtime.

Netflix is very good for movies and series such as comedy, They have a wide variety which can pull many viewers.

The live action adaptation of the Disney favorite Mulan was released exclusively on Disney Plus Sep. 4th. instead of movie theaters.

On Nov. 12, 2019 Disney Plus was released for the world to enjoy. Major telecommunication companies began using Disney Plus as a way to encourage more people to switch over to their companies or change their phone plans. Hulu:

The Handmaid Tale is a staple of a Hulu exclusive with its fourth season slated for early 2021.

Hulu is a popular streaming service with around thirty-million paid subscribers in May of 2020, partially due to its partnership with Disney+. It has a variety of shows and movies and has a generally easy set up. Lastly, there are four different plans, two main ones and then an ad-free counterpart.

Hulu has original shows and movies as well as ones that have been around for a while, some originals being The Handmaid’s Tale, Pen15, and Letterkenny. Some older shows and movies are Shameless, 90-day Fiance, and Heathers.

Hulu is one of my favorite streaming services because of its vast selection of things to watch, I could scroll through Hulu for hours and it’d seem like I’d never be able to stop, they have everything from anime to reality-TV, horror to comedy, and romance to action.

Finally, Hulu has two main plans and an ad-free version of each of them, aside from the free trial, of course. There’s the plain Hulu plan, you get access to all the movies and shows Hulu has, however, you have to watch ads. The plain Hulu plan is $5.99 a month- or $59.99 a year, and its ad-free counterpart is $11.99 a month. The second main plan is Hulu + Live TV, which gives you access to sports channels and other events happening live, such as presidential debates. Hulu + Live TV is $54.99, and its ad-free counterpart is $60.99 a month.
