Barbwire BBQ is a family-owned business that has been in Eudora for four years.  Originally located in a parking lot across from the Eudora Public Library in a trailer, Barbwire has found its home in Eudora at 601 E 10th Street.  The owners are Jason and Jay Musick. When they heard that there was an available leasing space for Barbwire, they look into the details immediately

Freshman Kyleigh Musick is the daughter of Jay Musick and niece of Jason. She works a part-time job at Barbwire helping wherever she can.

“They’re really nice, we have so much fun,” said Musick. “We all get assigned our own job, we all usually get lunch breaks,” said Musick. “We all pitch in to clean after work we get a lot of good reviews so that means that we’re doing something right with customer service.”

Evaluating the ambiance of Barbwire, the atmosphere is classic small town barbecue.  The environment is kind and welcoming. The condition that they keep their common area in is very clean.

The employees, as well as the building were very organized. The employees were kind and were very willing to strike a conversation and allow us to conduct an interview. The music within the restaurant within the restaurant fit the atmosphere very well.

“It was really good. The food was great, the service was great. All the people there were really nice and of course the food was amazing,” Freshman Lucy Giffin said.

Sophie Whalen, Frosh. gives her opinion on Barbwire, “The food was really good and their set up is really nice,” said Whalen.

There was a wide variety of different things to order. The meat was delicious, and there were many choices of sauce. The meat and the sauce are well paired and complement each other well. We also had an order of fries that was perfectly crisp and was salted well. Barbwire also has a special dish called funnel cake fries, which is a perfect mix between the two items in the name. We were also given a slice of a special cake ordered from the bakery called Lulu’s located in Eudora. It was a chocolate cake that was the perfect end to the food that came before it.

I suggest that anyone with time and money visits Barbwire BBQ at their first opportunity. Barbwire is a lovely place with kind and caring employees. The atmosphere of the restaurant is imaquilate.+

I highly recommend going to Barbwire. It’s a very good place to get food and go to eat out with family and friends! You can order ahead of time and can pick up or eat inside.
