Email is easily the best way to give
and receive information here at EHS.
Whether it’s used to inform the students
about school events, or simply asking a
teacher about a grade, without email a
lot less would get accomplished.
However, with this in mind, it is
important for teachers to respond in a

timely manner. To satisfy this burning
curiosity, I constructed a simple test. I
sent a very generic question to all of the
teachers here at EHS and wrote down
their response times.
While keeping in mind that this
is by no means a rigid scientific
experiment, it gives us some fun data
for each teacher regarding their email

response time.
As you will find, the majority of
teachers respond in a very reasonable
timeframe. But to be fair, we all
know that emails can get lost in
an overstuffed inbox, or postponed
temporarily on an extremely busy day.
Some teachers, however, failed to
respond entirely.
