Eudora Track Travels to DeSoto

With warm, sunny weather the Eudora Cardinals competed well on Friday, May 1 in DeSoto. With 12 teams attending, the boys’ team performed to their best and earned 2nd place, with the girl team receiving 7th place. With some of the toughest teams Eudora competes against, multiple Cardinals placed in the top three:

Shawn Spurling won the javelin (151-1)

Braeden Manley won pole vault (13-0)

Kayla Maples won high jump (4-10)

Abbie Shockley won 300m hurdles (50.02)

Jon Ortiz placed second in both shot put and discus (48-9.25) (156-2)

Trey Byrne placed second in long jump (20-11.75)

Broderick Topil placed third in pole vault (12-0)

Liz Kendall placed third in high jump (4-8)

Jon Miller placed third in the 1600m (4:45.33)
