The varsity softball team has already had quite the start to their season, already playing four games against two separate opponents. The Lady Cards took on Anderson County at home for their first game of the season coming out with a win in both games. The final score in the first was 5-4 and final score in the second game was 6-4.

The softball girls went into their next game away at Prairie View feeling very confident and keeping the scores nail-bitingly close coming out on bottom at the end of game one with a final of 8-7 with their first loss early in the season. The girls came out in the next game ready for battle, doing well offensively, but falling at the end of the game two with a final score of 11-10.

The varsity softball team will play again on Tuesday, April 7 against Paola at home, looking to put a few more w’s on the board.
