It’s about that time of the year when the grass is greener, the weather warmer, and life is better. It’s also that time of the year where parents sit back and think of all the dirt that’s going to be in their washing machines as softball starts to kick up again.

The Eudora softball girls have been training hard preparing for their time to shine as the school year (as well as winter) start to draw to a close. Last season, Eudora said goodbye to a number of seniors, including the Richeson twins as well as Anna Brown. The softball girls ended last season with a final record of 4-17

Not only did Eudora lose a few seniors, but also said final goodbyes to well-known coach Ty Pattison.

Sophomore Brooklynn Beerbower stated, “I believe that we’re going to be much better this year compared to how we were last year. This year we have freshmen that are really talented, and I think that they will be able to step up in place of the seniors we lost and help us a lot.”
