Boys Basketball Battles DeSoto

The boys basketball team played at home against the DeSoto Wildcats in what would be a game to remember as the game would be decided in the final minutes of the match. From the very first minute, the game belonged to the Cardinals as they continued to stay ahead through the course of the first three quarters. Around the final minutes DeSoto began a comeback that would prove to be a nail-biter as the game came to a close with the Cardinals ahead 44-40. Leading scorers of the game were junior Austin Downing and seniors Trey Byrne and Zhade’ Wray.
