Music Department Presents Holiday Concert

Eudora Choir and Bands presented their winter band concert on Monday, December 1. “Showcasing Ballad and Dance” by Johnnie Vinson, “Colonel Bogey March” arranged by Balent, “Shenandoah” by Frank Ticheli, and “Christmas Sing-a-Long” arranged by Ployhar, the band presented and awesome concert. As audience members joined in on Christmas Sing-A-Long, the holiday spirit was shared throughout.

Each choir performed a variety of classic holiday tunes as well as “Carol of the Bells” with all of the choirs. For about an hour, the Eudora bands and choir gave the audience a wonderful evening.

“I enjoy performing because it gives our classes a chance to come together and show others what we have been working on,” Junior Zack Shoemaker explained, a member of both the band and Primo Vocci choir.

“You can express things in a way that would be most difficult to express in any other way,” senior and choir member Sydney Gulley shared. “It’s lyrical magic that would otherwise be unfound unless expressed with many different sounds.”

Be sure to keep your eyes open for more concerts coming up as the new year begins!
