The Cardinals varsity soccer team took the short drive to DeSoto on Tuesday, Oct. 28  in search of their first ever regional championship. The Cardinals, coming off of their second ever postseason win against Heritage Christian, winning the game 3-2. The Cardinal soccer team had high hopes of carrying over the momentum from their win the day before to beat DeSoto and advance to state for the first time in school history. The Cardinals came out fighting hard as they held DeSoto scoreless for a long 20 minutes, but when their opponents finally managed to kick one in, everything fell apart as DeSoto would score 5 points before the half. Eudora would lose by mercy rule with around 10 minutes left in the game. The final score 10-0 DeSoto. The Cardinals finished their season with only two wins all year, one regular season against Immaculata, and one postseason against Heritage.
