Lady Cardinals Lose Tough Match Against Spring Hill

On Tuesday, the Lady Cardinals took on the Spring Hill Broncos at home that resulted in one of the closest matches of the season. The varsity girls won the first two sets, and needed only one more win to win the match. Unfortunately, the Broncos rallied and won the next three. The Cardinals did not lose without a fight, though.

“I think we played well, we were dealing with a new rotation,” said junior Sierra Hartwell. “We’re hoping to play a lot better in the coming games.”

The second annual ‘Dig-Pink’ event is tonight against Bishop Ward. The volleyball girls have been fundraising for several weeks now, and plan on donating the funds to cancer patients in the area.

The games start with freshman at 4:30, followed by JV at 5:30 and varsity at 6:30.
