With the new school year comes the new fall sports season. Our Lady Cards traveled to Baldwin on Tuesday, Sept. 2 to compete for the first time this year.

The girls fought and fought but couldn’t manage to pull a win against Basehor losing both matches 17-25 and 9-25.

Later that night, the Cards found themselves battling with Baldwin inch for inch but came up shy losing both matches 23-25.

Head Coach Jeremy Gish stated, “The girls performed exactly the way that I expected them to, our blocking and passing was really really good, but they know just as well as I do that if we could have fixed some of the smaller things like foot faults we could have won more than we did.”

Last night the Lady cards took on Tonganoxie at home. Our girls managed to scrape by with a close 25-23 win in the first match but came out without a win losing the next 3 matches 20-25, 13-25, and 18-25.

Tomorrow the Lady cards will travel to Ottawa in high hopes of gaining their first win of the season.
