The Lady Cards Play at Home

The Lady Cards had a slow week last week. Their game against Ottawa was rained out. The only game the ladies played was at home against Atchison. The next week the Cardinals went up against Baldwin.

The first game against Atchison went well. The Lady Cards won with a score of 3-0. The ladies had a great defense for this game. Jordan Flakus, Brooklyn Beerbower, and Sam Gulley  had each gotten a RBI and Ana Brown had went 2 of 3 plates.

The next game did not go as well as the first. The Ladies lost with a score of 13-5. The ladies had gotten 15 hits but were unable to score runs. Beerbower had hit a double and had her first home run in high school.

The game against Baldwin was also at home. The Cardinals had lost both games with the first game having a score of 1-6 and the second 2-8.

The next game for the Lady Cards is on Tuesday May 13 at De Soto at 4:30.
