Q: I want to make a change this year. What New Year’s resolution should I make? – NYE
A: New Year’s resolutions are either very beneficial or do nothing. Making a change in your lifestyle, your attitude, or even the way you do something can be difficult. Finding something that is both achievable and beneficial can be tricky, but is worth it. If you want to eat healthier, make simple goals that are easy to reach. Swap a bag of chips for an apple twice a week or replace soda with water. Finding a friend to join you will also help. For example, go walking with a friend after school or play basketball for half an hour at the rec center. If you want to make new friends, try to branch out and join clubs or activities that you haven’t tried before. You may discover a new passion or meet someone special. There are many easy and attainable resolutions to follow all year long!
