Mascot and Symbol

Eudora is the proud home of the Eudora High School Cardinals. Eudora High School adopted the mascot sometime around the school’s establishment but one formal image was not selected until 1998. Former art teacher Gary Hinman designed what is commonly known as the Power Cardinal. The Power Cardinal is a trademarked symbol of USD 491 and any therefore any organization attempting use it must first seek permission from the district. If an organization wishes to use the symbol it is best to follow the instructions for use found on the website or call the district office.
